My Thoughts for the day (or months)

Lots of things have happened in recent months and I haven't updated anyone of them yet until now hah. Think I'm getting more lazy than anyone else in this world to get things done. It way past midnight and I'm trying very hard to recall what has happened. (Really can't recall all of them). Who cares anyway about things that had happened so long ago? Time to look ahead... Yah. I should
Loneliness is what I have for companionship for so many years. I'm used to it anyway. Staying at home alone. It's quite private anyway, no one to bother you, no one to nag at you and you can do whatever you want without anyone giving you their advices about how you should do it. Shiok. Wonderful. Superb~
Recently having second thought about selling my iPAQ 2210. Actually, I had wanted to sell that gadget away because doesn't seems to really matter to me cause I've never really used it. But somehow or rather, I had made some adjustments to it and viola~ instant gaming machine. Haha. Probably that's why I didn't auction it out. (actual fact that I couldn't find a buyer)
Lots of things have happened recently, some friends told me that they are having second thoughts about their relationships (if you know who you are, and if you think that it's not nice for me to say these, let me know asap, so that i'll remove it asap also~) Why the second thoughts? why now? Didn't you had tried very hard to convince yourselves and the other party that it will work out if you put much efforts into it and with lots of perseverance and determinations? You had showered the other party with care and concern, show them that you are really, really very serious about the relationship and that you are totally in love with them, so what went wrong? Why the sudden change of mindset? IF it's just simple, small misunderstandings, then I think it's really just all talk and no actions. IF not, then in my opinion, you are wasting your time. Totally. Why in the first place should you have tried to retain/maintain the relationship when cracks have appeared?
No offense to anyone, but I'm still at hating this world. Haha. Every different individuals have differents thoughts and perceptions. One man's meat is another's poison. Not everyone share the same ideas. That's what I've learnt these weekends. You can't please everyone. So what if you have put in 100% effort in your job and your work is not recognised at all? In my opinion, You can do two things. ONE, change your job. TWO, change your attitude. To you, you may have done your best and put in much efforts, but to your management, you may not have done enough to achieve what they expected. Yes, you have done your best, but could you have improved over your best? For example, long time ago, it was thought that no human being could run below 10sec for the 100 metres dash. The record stands for more that 50 years. But too bad, some idiot broke it and the world record is now below 10sec. What does this means? it means that the best has been beaten.
It's not wrong that you'd expect something in return if you have put in much effort in it, be it at work or in a relationship. It's okay to expect returns, that's human's nature. Else why would anyone wants to put in efforts for something? JUST FOR FUN? That's dumb. Also, don't expect that things will just come to you, you've to work hard for it. Run towards your goals and dreams, not wait for durians to drop. Someone told me that before, because I always wait for the durians.

Me vs. The World

It had come to my attention today, that everyone seems to be against me recently and all despise me that includes you, you and YOU. Everyone also seems to have place me in their ignore list and does not really cares about what I have to say and how i feel. Hencefore, from today onwards, it will be ME vs. THE WORLD. I don't care what the outcome is. No more selflessness and personal sacrifices. No more being nice and good. Time to think for individualism.

GO FIND THE MEANING OF HATRED IN YOUR DICTIONARY.

Part 2: Shenzhen

The trip to Shenzhen was both good and bad. The only good were some of the tourist attractions that they have built were quite interesting. The local government is really trying very hard to attract tourists. But in my opinion, it would be better if they could do something about the locals.
It was mentioned that the 治安 there is not very good. In fact, it is one of the worst in the country. Tourists are usual targets for muggers, that does not mean that the locals and Hong Kong visitors who go there are safe, they are equally in danger too. People can get robbed or wallets might be pick-pocketed in public, danger lurks everywhere.
Once, I heard one of my dad's friends (I'll call him A) , who was working there, was walking home with his wife. It was raining heavily that day and they were coming down from this overhead bridge. Out of no where, one mugger just steal his handphone from his handphone pouch which was on his waist. "A" wanted to confront that mugger, but when he turned around, there were 5, 6 muggers standing in front of him. Outnumbered and fearing for their safety, his wife pulls him away and told him to forget about the handphone and just leave.
Another incident also left me with some negative impressions. While arriving at Shenzhen, we had to cross over an overhead bridge. When coming down, some locals will "try to help" you carry your luggage whether you like it or not. One good advice, do not let them carry for you. They will demand that you pay for the "work" they have done, ie, carrying your luggage for you, worst, you might never see your luaggage again.
These incidents and experiences made me felt that it is sure nice that our country is not as bad as that.

Hong Kong / Shenzhen Trip (140505 - 180505)

Hiya, I'm back from my trip to Hong Kong / Shenzhen. It was great and in fact, quite interesting and I had learnt about a thing or two. Landed at the Hong Kong International Airport (香港國際機場) around midday and I was already blown away by the airport itself. It is quite huge and very spacious, the design of the airport is also extremely elegant and beautiful. Definitely it is a one-of-the-kind airport. It will definitely be a tough contender for Changi Airport to claim the title of the World Best Airport.

Next stop, my hotel Pruton Prudential Hotel (恆豐酒店). It is located in the Tsimshatsui (尖沙咀) vincinity, along Nathan road (敦道) with several other hotels also co-located around that area. Their MTR Jordan station (地下鐵路佐敦站) is also closeby, that made travelling to several places more accessible. Taxis are also available at affordable prices, compared to ours, definitely another great way to get to your destinations straight.

While at Hong Kong, I had a mini half-day tour to several interesting locations and sights, including Repulse Bay (
淺水灣) and Victoria Peak (太平山). There are several night markets that one can go to hunt great bargains. Temple Street (廟街) also known as "Men's Street" (男人街) and Tung Choi Street (通菜街) also know as "Ladies' Street" (女人街) offers you fashionable clothes & accessories, toys, household items and other great bargains. There is also the famous Jade Market (玉器市場) where many jade tradings occur. All in all, shopping in Hong Kong is to bargain and bargain and just bargain.

Eating in Hong Kong is fantastic. Dim-sum was great & tasty, and I had my fair share of good dim-sum that including my favourites, 虾饺, 罗米鸡, 马来糕, 凤爪 etc. The vegetarian restaurants were also excellent and there are several restaurants where I can find them near my hotel. Local dishes and delicacies were not spared too, 牛腩面, 烧鹅, 皮蛋粥, 老婆饼 etc 色香味俱全的好食品!

Unfortunately for me, I could not visit the Teddy Bear Kingdom (TBK) as it was under renovation, but nevertheless, I SHALL RETURN to this land. For DISNEYLAND HONGKONG (
香港迪士尼樂園) will be opening soon in September and in the meanwhile, I could just wait for TBK to be reopened. Hope that will not take too long... ... .... Adios~

Overseas trip

Finally, an overdue overseas trip. It has been a quite some time for me to travel so far away from home. Hong Kong is definitely one place I would love to visit and enjoy myself. One of the highlights of my visit will be to the Teddy Bear Kingdom (www.teddybearkingdom.com.hk). I just like bears. Found out about it while watching some travelling programmes. You can make your own bears and dress them up too! Got to sleep now, the flight is at 0800hrs later. Ciao~

Latest Updatez...

Everything seems to have changed drastically since I last updated. Sorry for the late update, Mr. MQ! heehee, saw your comment on the previous, previous posting. Yah, somehow, laziness has overcome me.
IT HAD TAKEN OVER MY BODY AND SOUL... HAHAHA, laziness can grow really fast in my body. Guess, I am really a lazy person, no denial about that.
MAY THE WRAITH OF GOD STRIKE ME... ... TWICE.

Anyway everyone seems so busy nowadays (or is it just me getting lazier?). Summarised happenings recently (in my opinion). In no order of merit, here are the nominees:

MZ = 找到她的第二个春天了! 要开心~

MQ = 工作繁忙! 要努力~

KS = 找到他的另一伴了! 有欢乐~

JF = 终于找到另一份工作! 要加油~

XZ = 忙着工作, 忙着读书! 放轻松~

JB = 找到新工作. 老地方, 做不同事! 要感恩~

MZ2 = 很多烦恼, 又很担忧! 不要愁~

Roo = 呦! 工作快乐, 爱情开始! 很高兴~

YJ = 不快乐, 不开心, 不要担心. 有个他, 陪着你, 别忘了我们哦! 有关怀~

JL = 还再读书呢! 很勤奋~

Well, there are some other things that I cannot remember so... ... Yah. That seems to be the case now. Crap. I cannot remember a thing now. Blog again so other time, I wonder when will it be?

It's my Birthday!

YAH!!!
No more pressure.
No more stress.
But trying to remember about things...

Anyway, I’ll be 25 this coming Feb 28th, hiak hiak!
Think of all the benefits I'll be getting!!!
IPPT Cat Y!!!
no more 944!!!
mid-20s crisis!!!
MUHAHAHAHA!!!
MUHAHAHAHA!!!
MUHAHAHAHA!!!
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... ...
*cough cough cough*

Had booked a chalet at Changi which has a seaview (great view, the sea breeze was wonderful too!). Too bad that I had to work that weekend and so, I was rushing to and fro between work and the chalet. The rest of the guys and gals were there yesterday, minus some who couldn't made it, but still it was a crowd. So was mum. So was dad. Heck, even my elder sis was there!

There were 2 cakes (how sweet of them!), 1 x chocolate cake and 1 x fruit cake. I smell a rat. Luckily, my face was not introduced to either of the cakes, who dares? hiak hiak~

BUT SOMEHOW, KS suggested that i should be dripped with wax. Candle wax. Before I could protest, i was pinned down, and we proceed with the SM game. Everyone had a good laugh, it felt terrible for me.

Every drop of wax = 1 second burst of pain

Enuff said. Frankly speaking, this is the first and only time that I celebrated my birthday with the guys and gals. Thanks for coming. Hope you guys and gals enjoyed yourselves. I did.

V-Day today

YES. IT'S V-DAY TODAY!
For you lovers out there, make it happen! Oh yah, help our country and produce more resources, make more babies! Haha, must help the government do some promotion mah!

2 weeks, 14 days, 336 hours, 20160 minutes. That is the amount of time that I did not update this kopi-tea house. Time to squeeze in everything today.

Went to YJ new home again for another mahjong session, this time I was determine to get some winnings, but sadly instead of winning, I end up losing the most. Worst, I had to pay up to the rest of them :(
Dammit! I just won a single game and that’s it! How unlucky can one be.

Had an argument with SS and this time it is the worst. He thought that i was scolding him for missing out a shop while he was shopping for Jackson Bay's birthday (who, henceforth will be known as JB, not Johor Bahru). But I did not scold him okay! He was starting to shows signs of anger and making undesirable remarks about me. (called me an ass 4 times) NOW THAT REALLY PISSED ME OFF. So we stopped talking to each other.

Anyway, went to celebrate JB’s birthday at Marche in Suntec, most of the gang are around including new and old friends, including SS, who was showing his black, black face to me. Well, I didn’t care much about it then because it was JB’s birthday, must give him face also.

As always, i had to make the first move to make peace with SS, after some persuasion from MQ and KS. He does not admit that he's in the wrong, always waiting for the other party to say sorry or make peace. He's always like that "lost one friend only, never mind lor..." “I can’t be bother with you.” Crappy. But what to do, he's like a half-brother to us. How i wish he could be more optimistic and open to what others have to say. Be less sensitive and touchy too.

Chinese New Year was a quite affair for me this year, nothing much done, didn't really get to visit any relatives as my parents and them had planned to meet on the 3rd day, which was rather unfortunately for me, I had to work on that fateful day. But then again, I'm gratefully that i was able to meet up with my close friends (the only ones i had :D) and shared my days with them.

Went to Tampines KBOX again with MQ, MZ, SS, ROO and one of MQ’s galfriend. This is the first time I had spent so much on KTV. We had ordered some drinks (3 red wines and 2 jugs of beer) and starts to drink happily and make merry. Most of us were tipsy, noticably, MQ’s friend, MZ, MQ and ROO. Ha, amateurs :D.

We followed up the next day at Cosy Bay where we were to celebrate ROO’s birthday. MQ could not make it as he had another event going on. MZ and KS had their usual fight and argument. MZ was feeling abit upset that day and KS was making fun of her. TOO BAD FOR HIM. She took his expensive Arai helmet and threatened to disfigure it with the oily, dirty and greasy cake knife unless he surrender himself and be punished by her pinching claws. KS gave in, so did his arm. That blue-black mark is the proof of MZ trademark pinch. Finally, MQ and I am not the only target boards haha!

That’s all for the first half of the month, can’t wait for the end of Feb, I’m gonna have a chalet then, hope everyone could come down and enjoy themselves!

Puddings

Well, today tried to made some puddings and bought some instant mango favor pudding mix from the supermarket. The end product did not satisfy me because i find it rather hard to be pudding. Crap! i felt that i was conned. I want those soft, soft, wobbly, wobbly, juicy, tasty mango puddings that can only be found in upper-class Cantonese resturants. Damn! my puddings are too hard!

Meet up with Meizhen (who, shall hence, thereafter, be known as MZ2 from this point onwards) at bugis today, she said she wanted to do some shopping and before we go down to YJ home in Mountbatten. We had a late lunch and i was stuffing myself with food until I was bloated... ARGGHHH!!! really got to control my appetite and to start eating moderately.

Went to YJ new, lovely-dovely home today! WOOHOO! The location very nice, very close to the CBD area, you could reach there in 10 mins if you drive! Very close to the Old Airport Road also, AHHHH... ... the close proximity of good food~ HMPHHHHH... ... FOOD... ...

As usual, we have to fulfill our craving for mahjong and as usual YJ, our very own mahjong queen. She's really good at looking very cool and suavy and abit blur while winning games after games. Sigh, she had earned the tuition fees from me again :( I gotta do something about it!

time of reflection

*cough* *cough* humph... the ucler was still at the throat but was getting better and less annoying, i gotta keep away from more spicy food... still very dry though.

Note: rather length crap about the movie "PHANTOM OF THE OPERA"

skip if it is too boring, you have been warned...

A couple days back, i had went to watch the Phantom of the Opera, the movie, with MQ and MZ at Tampines GV. I find it kinda nice and was TOTALLY, UTTERLY, AND EMOTIONALLY overwhelmed by the show. Wonderful sets and colourful costumes, excellent cinegraphy and beautiful songs & singing and it is a GREAT STORY! I was particularly attracted to the songs and singing, the feeling was AWESOME!

The show have given me more insights into life:
LIFE WILL BE CRUEL, NOT EVERYTHING WILL BE PERFECT FOR EVERYONE.

I felt pity for the Phantom that life was cruel to him. From being exploited since at a tender age, forced to be part of a freak sideshow, to living in undesirable conditions under the opera house sewages, with no one to love him, no one to appreciate him and no one to take care of him .He was being portrayed as a villian but the fact is (as i had felt), he is more of a victim. He was:

JUDGED

FEARED

OUTCASTED

enuff said, go see the movie yourself (or go rent a dvd or something).

Okay back to RL now (that's real life to you readers!). Ha. Had gain lots of ground recently (meaning the whole room now is my terrority, no trespassing!). Although i'm having more space but is still in a mess! Kinda quiet nowadays since sis had moved out. There no one to quarrel with, share your thoughts with, discussing daily issues, looking out for each other too... kinda scary to be alone right now, but i guess i'll just have to move on.

Saving up seems like a good idea right now (it has always been), lots of things need to be done but haven't accomplished anyone of them yet. bummer. YIPPEE!! that means thatI'm still in limbo... OMG! I really need to be more organised (keep reminding myself) time to throw more things =====>>>>

thoughts to share... ...

Had been rather inactive lately due to work and other stuff. Hmmm, got to remember what to write here.

Had went to YJ chalet at East Coast Park, it was just a typical gathering. Well had went blading along with MQ, MZ and CL, while AN cycles. We went from the chalet to Fort Road and head back towards the Bedok Jetty. Well, I didn't really follow them throughout the whole course, had to fall out back to the chalet after returning from Fort Road.

I had miserably failed to maintain my balance this time round and fell down 3 TIMES! Broken the previous record of 2 falls. Right now had some new scars and scratches on my left knee and right elbow, other than those superficial injuries, I was okay! I was feeling very lousy and still cannot understand how did it happened and why my balancing and motoring skills are still below average. Couldn't really control the blades, rather I had let them controlled my movements. Shit happens.

The past 2 days was working the during the graveyard hours, damn tiring and extremely busy. I didn't really got much sleep and was feeling rather sick and uncomfortable. Soon i discovered that an ucler had found its way to my throat. It was a rather unpleasant feeling and the it hurts a lot.

Didn't really had much to do these past few days, or in fact, that i was again too lazy to get most of the things done. Looking on the brighter side, I actually did completed some stuff and work but that was not enough. I have to really set to reset my biology clock system....

Yippee!

WOOHOO!

WOOHOO!

WOOHOO!
WOOHOO! YIPPEE!!!!

Finally! off days! Well, i had planned long time ago to go Mdm Wong and have a good drink, enjoy the LOUD music and *looking* at people swinging their bodies and sweating out. YA!

Went there with several colleagues and as usual I "kue ji ki" (opened one bottle). Had lots and lots of drinks but was not getting any" high", that was expected. I had to control the alcohol consumption mah else "drunk -drunk" not very good... MQ said he was at News Room Bar with his friends, we planned to LINK-UP but somehow didn't.

Later, he told me that he had one drink too many (woohoo!chem!chem!chem!) and had to be sent back by his friends. Ack, sometimes people get weak!

Needed a break!

Worked until quite late tonight, and was on my way home when MZ called and asked if I would like to meet up with MQ and SS. I was abit tired that day, but what the heck! Went to Orchard to meet them at that not-so-new bbq place (actual location and name i forgot but i still remember how to get there!)

We were having difficulties deciding where we should go as MZ was getting sleepy, MQ has to meet up with another friend at Mdm Wong while Stan wants to go to the Esplande (again! That's the 'n' times i have been there already). Then we decided to chill out at one of the pub just behind News Room Bar. We had some drinks and games while MQ looks for his friend.

After SS left, the three of us went to for another heart-heart chatty session at East Coast Park (ECP). Many thoughts and experiences were exchanged and discussed.

"What is yours, will be yours, what's not, will never be." - annoymous

"Being loved is easy, giving isn't." - annoymous

"In a relationship, definitely there will be one who will love more than the other, but love cannot be measure, so what bother? Give your 101% effort to the person you loved!" - another annoymous

What a day...

DAMN!
It was a gruesome morning, working like NON-STOP HITS.

"CHENG!"

.
. .
. . .

"CHENG-CHENG-CHENG!!!"

. . . .
. . . . .
. . . . . .

"SI BEI CHENG AHHHHHH!!!"

Went for a short run (5km?) with MD, to kick-start the first of many runs that will be coming in the next few months. Will have to start training for the coming IPPT. *ACK*! *POUTZ!*

"SIONG!"

.
. .
. . .

"SIONG-SIONG-SIONG!!!"

. . . .
. . . . .
. . . . . .

"SI BEI SIONG AHHHHHH!!!"

Was feeling very tired and sleepy after one whole day, shopping for food at NTUC when suddenly my hp rang and it displayed:

Calling
N Mingchuan

MQ jio me to go blading and told me that he and MZ had been blading at East Coast Park for the past hour. I was very reluctant to join them as I was:

1) felling tired,
2) burnt-out from the run,
3) feeling pain in my index toe on the left feet,
4) very hungry,
5) having cramp legs,
6) feel that it would be very, very far away,
7) I would have to rush home AND get out again immediately,
8) in the middle of getting my food,
9) feeling that it was abit too late to call me,
10) feeling very, very sleepy and wanted a much need rest.

(someone told me to her give 10 good reasons why i cannot join them)

I agreed half-hearted, provided that i could make it in time. Surprisely, (who knows what GOD had done to make it possible, a miracle perhaps?), i did make it in time, so what the heck! With lightning speed, I was on my way.
^_^;

I was blading with MZ heading towards BEDOK JETTY, while MQ had to run some errands and will be meeting up later. I was warned about the twigs and fruits along the path and was told to be careful.

BUT SHIT HAPPENS.

Out of nowhere, I was brought down by a single, harden killer fruit that stopped me in my path. My butt still hurts...

MQ: "fall down once and you will do fine for the rest of the day, you will not fall again."
MZ:
"yeah."

Too bad, luck was not on my side. We were making our way to take a look at a RC (remote control) car that MQ was telling me about, when we came across... ...

A small S-BEND SLOPE

Both MZ and MQ told me to be careful when navigating this monster.

LIGHTING STRIKES TWICE & SHIT HAPPENS AGAIN.

This time, i completely lost control and was sliding down it the slope while enjoying the painful experience. Suffered a few scratches on my right thigh and another painful enjoyment for my butt. MZ was almost nearly there too, but lucky she hopped like a rabbit to the grass patch and was safety.

"PAIN!"

.
. .
. . .

"PAIN-PAIN-PAIN!!!"

. . . .
. . . . .
. . . . . .

"SI BEI PAIN AHHHHHH!!!"

Later we met Stan at carpark D before "we" decided to go for ROCHOR "tau hua". Somehow or rather, the venue was changed to JALAN BESAR and ended up at NEWTON CIRCUS. It seems so, as the leading vehicle was "straying off" all this while. I rest my case. Some people do have "persuasive" powers. *LOL*

Well, looking on the brighter side, at least we did went back for the "tau hua". *yummy*

What a morning...

Woohoo, woke up are 0500h this morning, still feeling very sleepy and dopey (muz be the late night sleeping) saw KS on MSN juz now and talk to him abit...he's at New Zealand right now. Seems like his job is getting more and more overseas trips nowadays, how i wish i could go there too but then again, it's very the far for me, guess i'll just stick this little dot on the map. Got to work, shall blog later.

3rd time lucky i hope....

WELL, here i am again, starting another session and i hope that IT STAYS HERE FOR GOOD.
Hope i can regularly updates this else it will end up in the dumpster again and again and again. Anyway, had met up with MQ, MZ and Stan at 85 for late dinner. Well, MQ and MZ have to work, so that leaves Stan to accompany me on my self-admin trip to UBI and TAMPINES in the late afternoon.

Great, it's half-past midnight and i'm still up, not a single shit for work is being prepared! I really got to re-align my bio-clock, recently i can't meet timings and schedules. Shitty things will happen sooner or later... A bunch of stuff to do but not really done, a lot of goals set but not achieved and a lot of things that need to be done but not touched at all!
ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH yeah, listening to a few lovely classical love songs. "Nothing's gonna change my love for you" (my fav!), "You were always on my mind", "When I fall in love" just to name a few.

THESE ARE GREAT, LITTLE, MORALE BOOSTERS
(in my point of view)

Gonna get things ready, hope that i could do it in 15 minutes...or 20. OR 30. DARN! i need a better bio-clock!
